Information on Corralejo

Situated on the northern tip of the island, Corralejo is the biggest and busiest resort on Fuerteventura. Once a working fishing town, it has become one of the most popular destinations in the Canaries. With fantastic year round sunshine and perfect windsurfing conditions, Corralejo is where it’s at. People come from afar to view the rolling sand dunes and magnificent beaches. Whilst in the town centre there is a large surplus of hotels and restaurants to choose from.

Water sports – Go on a snorkel safari to Lobos Island and pay a visit to the Dolphins, Turtles and Rays. Other water sports consist of deep-sea diving, surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving and much more.  Recently opened in Corralejo the Baku water park.

Add a little luxury to your holiday and set sail to the beautiful island of Lanzarote on a luxurious catamaran. A visit to the Island of Isla de Lobos on a glass bottom boat is a must.

The mood of this Island is relaxed rather than frantic so party animals would be hard pushed to find feasts of clubs yet families and couples are well catered for with a broad range of bars and restaurants.  Also there is a new bowling alley open in Corralejo, which is great fun.

There is a rather nice golden sandy beach a short walk from the apartment (5-6 mins walk), where it is safe for children and adults alike to swim, with a couple of restaurant bars where you can have breakfast / lunch with views of Los Lobos. You can then stroll along the shore line into the Centre of Corralejo where you will find more sandy beaches, shops, restaurants and bars.
